This beautiful van de Stadt Marsdiep 34 is a unique classic S-Spant with a beautiful slender line and good sailing characteristics. I received daily compliments on every voyage about the elegance and condition of this sailing ship.
The ship is listed in the BHS (Bestand Historische Schepen, NL) and registered with the VKSJ (Vereniging Klassieke Scherpe Jachten, NL).
This slender lady was built in 1963 by the then famous Kuijper Shipyard in Schoorldam, after a design by the renowned naval architect E. G. van de Stadt. It is a sturdily built steel ship with lifting keel, allowing the draft to vary from 1.10 m to 1.95 m, ideal for both sea and inland waters such as Wadden, IJsselmeer, Frisian and Zeeland waters.
For those who love beauty and are looking for a small ship with all the comforts and relatively low maintenance, Amandine is a good choice.
