More about the Skua 42

The Skua is a steel S-frame, a variant of the Tradewind 39. Compared to the Tradewind, she is 3 feet longer and several changes have been made to the lines. The Skua was designed by v.d. Vlist in Harlingen and she was built by Atlantic, also in Harlingen.
The hull was manufactured according to Lloyd's standards, with everything checked with X-ray technology after welding. The hull is metallized with aluminum to prevent rust, and both hull and deck are insulated.
