This Grand Soleil 43 was purchased from Messink Yachting. Specially built for a trip around the world. On request, hull reinforcements around the bow, keel area and rudder were performed at the shipyard in Italy. Other than standard delivered items; higher mast, heavier engine 56 HP instead of 40 HP, lead keel, larger genoa winches 56.2 ST instead of 53.2 ST, bigger halyard winches 44.2 ST instead of 40.2 ST, extra halyard stoppers, deck spinnaker equipment, Kotterstag removable, double spoke steering wheel, High Aspect tracks on superstructure, bearing Harken genoa tracks, bearing mainsail and genoa sheaves in the mast.
