The Theodora was built in 1947 as Houthandel V at shipyard G. de Vries-Lentsch Amsterdam / Alphen a/d Rijn by order of Houthandel Hulsinga from IJsselmonde.

For propulsion there is a Kromhout-Gardner 5 LS built in with a Brevo mechanical gearbox behind it. Both are still in the ship.
In 1970 the ship came into private hands and was renamed Dolphin. Since 1995 the name is Theodora and since 2009 we are the 4th owner.

The boat was once drawn for a Kromhout glow-headed engine, but it never got in because of the 2nd world war. When the boat was built a Kromhout 5LS was placed in the boat which left a lot of space in the engine room.

The Theodora is completely painted in a 2-component system. The hull on the inside is completely in the menie. At the last shipyard in mid-2018 a surface thickness measurement was carried out by an independent expert. The least measured thickness at 1 point is 5MM, all other points well above that. The complete report is available for inspection.
